Truck Driver Position – Available to start immediately

We are looking for highly proficient, experienced truck drivers to join our Team

The candidate will need to have excellent driving skills and a good sense of direction. Our drivers are responsible for delivering orders from our Factory to the various delivery addresses in a safe and timely manner.

The requirements for the ideal candidate are:

Valid Code 14 and PDP drivers license

Proven work experience as a Truck Driver

Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly

Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations

Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)

Must have valid documentation

Must have a valid South African ID

No Criminal or Credit records

The responsibilities of the candidate will be to:

· Transport goods orders from the Factory to various delivery locations

· Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance

· Plan routes and meet delivery schedules

· Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures

· Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions

· Collect and verify delivery instructions

· Report defects, accidents, or violations

Salary: R8,000.00 – R12,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Roodepoort, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• High School (matric) (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Valid driving licence (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Preferred)
