Aplin – Payroll Administrator – Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Process Canadian and US bi-weekly payrolls, including payroll, journal/register, reconciliation
  • Verify ADP time sheets for payroll, including maintaining and updating input data
  • Maintain all personal payroll related associate information
  • Maintain WSIB, LTD and garnishment deductions and reconciliation
  • Maintain/administer RRSP and 401K deductions
  • Maintain reconciliation of company benefit plan payments
  • Prepare and process payroll month-end accruals
  • Prepare monthly headcount reports
  • Report on Labour Costs on weekly and monthly basis
  • Process year end payroll (T4) and adjustments in preparation of T4
  • Oversee payroll issues, benefit, vacation etc. in collaboration with HR
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports as required


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years Accounting/Payroll experience (ADP) and ADP Workforce knowledge is mandatory
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage confidential documentation
  • Ability to work independently and with team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
